Practice 2 - Intensifiers & limiters

Here are six versions of the same sentence, with variations in the language to provide stronger or weaker alignment with the thesis being presented.

Order the sentences from strongest to weakest alignment by using your mouse to drag them into the table in the correct order.

Consider the verb choices as well as the intensifiers and limiters to help you decide.

If you need to refresh your understanding of evaluative verbs before you begin, see Module 2, Unit 4, Section 4.1: Using evaluative verbs.
